Do you have access to grant funding, training support, or an employer willing to reimburse your education costs?

While the full Solo School program typically is not eligible for grant funding due to its coaching and service-based elements, we've developed a stream specifically for these types of situations.

It provides much higher levels of instruction and lab support, a weekly structure, and planning and resources that will allow you to quickly develop the skills and knowledge to grow your business (or your employer's business.)

Our goal with this program is to help people without a marketing background to understand and be able to implement the basics of marketing and promotion in accessible, sustainable ways, so they can further their careers.

Section 3: Program Quality

This section provides the justification for the program's unique instructional model and the provider's qualifications.

Instructional Model:

The "Applied Deliverable" Model

This program is not a passive video course. It follows an "Applied Deliverable" model where less than 20% of the time is theory (video) and over 80% is active creation and expert feedback. This ensures participants do not just consume information but actively produce the assets their business needs.

Instructor Qualifications:

Subject Matter Expert

All instruction and feedback are provided by a Subject Matter Expert with over 23 years of active industry experience in digital marketing and entrepreneurship, significantly exceeding academic requirements.

Lead Instructor Cheryl Woodhouse is a results-driven digital strategist with over two decades of agency experience leading a full-service digital marketing practice.

  • Relevance to Stages 1 & 2 (Strategy): As a Lead Digital Strategist, she has extensive experience managing all aspects of client projects, from initial needs analysis and strategy to "Production Design," having personally led the design, development, and launch of over 36 custom websites.
  • Relevance to Stage 3 (Acquisition): She has proven expertise in building repeatable client-acquisition systems, including managing and executing end-to-end digital marketing campaigns, content strategy, and marketing automation.
  • Relevance to Stage 4 (Growth): Her experience in scaling operations includes managing full-cycle development projects and engineering custom e-commerce solutions to streamline operations and improve ROI.

Provider Status (PTIB): This program is exempt from PTIB (Private Training Institutions Branch) registration as the total instructional time is under 40 hours.

Accessibility and Effectiveness

The model has been certified effective by external professional audits (conducted by Occupational Therapists). The flexible pacing and "Applied Deliverable" model are essential accommodations that increase the successful application of learning, ensuring a maximal return on investment.
